Affiliate Disclosure
The FTC requires that all websites providing sponsored products or affiliate advertising must clearly disclose this to our website visitors (as we should do).
In some posts or on pages:
I may review and recommend specific products or services and include affiliate links. An affiliate link is a specific URL that contains the affiliate’s ID or username.
In affiliate programs, advertisers use affiliate links to record the traffic that is sent to the advertiser’s website. If you purchase something through one of my affiliate links, I will receive a small commission. These commissions help me defray the many costs involved with bring you my content
This does not affect the PRICE YOU PAY AT ALL.
For example, if you decide after reading one of my posts that you want to buy the “Example ABC Widget” I reviewed. You have 2 choices:
- You may simply click the convenient link I provided to purchase the item, and see that it’s selling for $14.00. You pay the $14.00 and your item ships from the 3rd party vendor. I receive a small commission from your purchase to compensate me for my time and efforts; or
- You can do an internet search for “Example ABC Widget”, find the same item selling on the same site for the same $14.00. You pay the same $14.00 and your item ships from the 3rd party vendor. I receive no commission from your purchase to compensate me for my time and efforts.
Either way, you receive the very same product for the very same price. There is no added “upcharge” to you. I will always clearly disclose links that are affiliate based.

Additionally, my use of affiliate links or advertising on this site in NO WAY affects my opinions. As a collector and I consumer, I value honesty and believe that providing honest reviews of products or services is the only way to operate.
