Blokees Galaxy Version: The Complete Guide
Galaxy Version sits at the second tier of the Blokees price range — a step up from Defender Version in both size and detail, still well within impulse buy territory at around $9 a box. These are blind box waves of buildable 4-inch figures on a shared body template with 22 points of articulation. The roster leans heavily G1, with detours into IDW comics, Transformers: One, and the 1986 movie.
Each wave ships in cases of nine, one of each figure per case. Every wave also includes a chase variant — a metallic redeco with extra accessories appearing roughly once in every four cases. Want the complete base set without gambling? Buy a full unopened display box directly from Blokees.
Worth knowing as you shop: the line evolved over time. Starting with Wave 6, the Autobot and Decepticon faction symbols were quietly dropped from the figures. No official reason has been given. Wave 7 added articulation points and removed the figure stands. Wave 8 updated the leg and knee joint tooling. Later waves are the more refined buy if build quality is a priority.
